It was quite obvious that a recent run of warmer weather here at our home base in Asheville, NC, had an immediate effect on the local flora. We are starting to see buds on Maple trees and some flowering plants start to emerge from their winter hibernation. When this sort of transition begins, it is very easy to get caught up in “Spring Fever” and relegate the memories of shoveling snow from the sidewalk, or clearing the driveway to the backs of our minds.
Before we file another winter away, we need to remind ourselves that the time is now to begin thinking about looking for that perfect, maintenance-free home – perhaps in one of our southern states that is not affected by cold, snowy weather. Or perhaps in a community close by that offers a full slate of services, like lawn care, snow removal, etc. Before you know it, we will be lamenting the passing of another Fall and the onset of Winter.
